Hi, I’m Nicole. I draw everything you see here by hand.
Every sticker, hat patch and pet portrait at Wild Slice starts as a pen-and-ink drawing. No AI. No shortcuts. Just me, a fine-line pen, and a lot of tiny details.
I’m self-taught, and it started with wood slices. I’d sit with a pen and a round of birch and draw whatever the woods were making me feel: herons, owls, forests.
Now I draw for people who love the outdoors, their dogs, or both. That includes 36 (and counting) dog breed stickers, nature designs for hikers and adventurers, engraved patch hats, and custom pet portraits for the friend who’s basically family.
I specialize in pen and ink, as well as digital illustration, my work embodies the interconnectedness of all things found in nature and serves as a reflection of my belief in the inherent harmony of the world around us.
Why handmade matters to me
Anyone can generate a picture now. I’d rather spend hours on one owl feather. When you buy from Wild Slice, you’re backing a real person, and I pack your order myself.
